Make Snap to scale work in midi recording mode as well as in midi playing mode

Sonar has a Snap to Scale feature, but it is borderline useless, since it is useable only when drawing notes in the piano roll.

Suggestion: it should work in any mode, eg when playing on a keyboard or when having the daw play a prerecorded midi sequence: this is the way it works in most other DAWs, such as Ableton (see MIDI effects / Scale in Ableton Live).

1. Make Snap to scale work while playing on a midi keyboard, i.e. live. A note that is played that doesn't belong to the scale is automatically replaced according to the setting (next higher, next lower, nearest note).

2. Make Snap to scale work with prerecorded midi sequences, i.e. replay. A note that is played back that doesn't belong to the scale is automatically replaced according to the setting (next higher, next lower, nearest note). Alternatively, there could be a menu Process / Snap to scale that would change the midi sequence. Even better, it could be non-destructible, i.e. it would be possible to undo, choose another scale, redo.
