Removed and re-install twice Dimension pro maybe as much 5 times over the year. I was under the impression because my update policy lapse that dimension pro was no longer able to lookup extra libraries that are  available. I join cakewalk subscription in the hope that the problem will be resolved but that was not the case. I have many dim pro libraries as much as 9 extra library.  For example from cakewalk old world instruments, entire ensoniq dimension pro library from sonic reality plus a few others that was not purchase from cakewalk. Now that Rapture seems to be the path their on only rapture session is seeing some of them. I guess this is the last run for dimension pro, like Beatscape, R-mix, Session drummer II ,pitch shifter and vari-pitch, etc ,etc one thing is certain in technology company's everything changes.  But sometime thats exactly what the customer dose not want is too much change from year to year.

It may depend on the vintage of the installers. I believe the newest installers install DPro expansion packs into the Rapture Pro/Session program and multisample folders.  If this is the case, you can either choose to integrate all the DPro multisamples into the Rapture Pro/Session multisample folders or move the DPro multisamples to the DPro multisample folders. Programs in DPro are hard coded to  C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Programs.

The default Rapture Pro/Session multisample folder is C:\Cakewalk Content\Cakewalk Sample Data\Rapture Pro\Multisamples.

The default Rapture Pro/Session program folder is C:\Cakewalk Content\Rapture Pro\Programs

The easiest way I have found to integrate the DPro multisamples into the Rapture Pro/Session multisamples folder is

  1. move the contents of C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Multisamples (or where ever the DPro munisamples are currently installed) to C:\Cakewalk Content\Cakewalk Sample Data\Rapture Pro\Multisamples
  2. delete the DPro multisamples folder
  3. open a command window as administrator and type mklink /j C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Multisamples
    C:\Cakewalk Content\Cakewalk Sample Data\Rapture Pro\Multisamples

Regardless of what decision you make about the multisamples, the DPro programs will have to be copied from C:\Cakewalk Content\Rapture Pro\Programs to C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Programs. After copying the programs, refresh the DPro browser using F5.

Are the libraries installed in the correct location?

Have you pressed F5 to refresh Dim Pro's database?
